TENNIS: Internationaux de France - Roland Garros
Les Internationaux de France ou tournoi de Roland Garros est l'un des quatre tournois de tennis du Grand Chelem avec Wimbledom, l' US Open et l' Open d' Australie.
It is the second of the Grand Slam tournaments on the annual tennis calendar and is the premier clay court tennis tournament in the world.
El Tournoi de Roland-Garros (En español: "Torneo Roland Garros") es un evento de tenis que se lleva a cabo desde mediados de mayo hasta comienzos de junio en París, Francia y es el segundo de los torneos mundiales de Grand Slam.

Le stade de Roland-Garros est inauguré en 1928 pour la Coupe Davis.
Para el desafío de Copa Davis del año 1928 se construyó un nuevo estadio de tenis en la Porte d’Auteuil. Llamado "Stade Roland Garros" por un héroe de la Primera Guerra Mundial tenía una cancha de tierra batida (terre battue), lo que altera el rebote de la pelota y el acercamiento de los jugadores.
